I wish it was that simple. I just want to see your face one last time, give you the real goodbye I hoped for. To see those perfect brown eyes sparkle again, for just a moment. I know this will get easier in time, but for the time being, I’m struggling. My one wish is that you’re happy where you are, wherever you end up. If in some distant place in the future we see each other in our new lives, I’ll smile at you with joy and remember how we spent those last few months of my school life together.
